Authentic Wadi Rum Camp

Rum village: Wadi Rum Road,

Aqaba, Jordan

+962 7 7516 9454

This is the largest wadi (or valley) in Jordan. His name has a very ancient origin and is already mentioned in the Koran. The site has been recognised as a UNESCO heritage site. The Rum valley has been inhabited since prehistoric times by various civilizations, including the Nabatians, who left inscriptions and drawings in the rock, as well as the temple dedicated to the Lat God. Today, the valley is inhabited by the Bedouins of the Zalabieh tribe, who have gradually settled in a village.
The Wadi Rum Desert is located near the desert highway between Amman and Aqaba. A signpost indicates the crossing at the village of Rashidiya. An excellent paved road leads to the entrance of the protected area. You will find the visitor centre, a police station.
The entrance fee (tourist tax) is 5 JD / person and per stay. The village of Wadi Rum is located on the same road about 6 km from the entrance and is the last place to be reached by car (except 4×4).

With us of course, you will be welcomed with open arms in our Wadi Rum bedouin camp in the heart of the desert.
