Wadi Rum "Top of the World" Climbing Tour Short Description
It’s certainly the best tour if you like to hike mountains and would like to live a desert adventure at the same time.

We will take you on a 2-days Jeep tour to visit incredible sites of the Wadi Rum desert and you will have the choice between sleeping at our camp or under the stars. Climbing in Wadi Rum is possible thanks to  our experimented bedouin guide.

All our prices are in JOD and USD. When you book a tour, we ask for a 20% deposit online in USD. You can change or cancel your reservation 1 week in advance for free. In case of cancellation at least 1 week prior to the booking date, your deposit will be refunded entirely. The difference will be paid in JOD (in cash) at the end of your tour. Our currency rate is 1.4 (1 JOD = 1.4 USD).

2 days + 1 night

Day 1 – Discovering the Protected Area of Wadi Rum

Our tours start at 10am in Summer and at 9am in Winter.

First of all, we welcome you at our office in Rum village with a Bedouin tea. After arranging the tour details and finishing the tea, we leave for the desert.

After a quick ride, you will arrive at Lawrence spring. a natural spring. You can  scramble the spring and enjoy the Wadi Rum desert views.

Our next stop is Khazali canyon. You will discover ancient inscriptions and a waterhole.

We will then head towards the red sand dune. It’s a great place to climb, run, roll down, or even slide with a board if you want!

Then, we drive to Anfishiyyeh where you will find another authentic ancient inscriptions.

Lawrence house is our next destination before lunch.

We drive you to one of our Bedouin lunch places in the desert. We prepare traditional Bedouin food for you. You will have around 2 or 3 hours to enjoy the place, have a rest or walk around.

But don’t go too far, because your guide will then drive you to the Mushroom rock.

After lunch

Then, we head towards Um Fruth rock bridge. You can scramble it if you want to, and certainly enjoy a challenging but rewarding view and great pictures to be taken. Climbing in Wadi Rum is really fun!

After that, we drive to Abu Khashaba canyon. You will have the chance to walk through the canyon on your own. Your guide will pick you up on the other side after about 30 minutes walking.

We will enjoy one of the last incredible moments of the day: watch the sunset in Um Sabatah where you will discover amazing colors and landscapes.

Now you have the choice between staying overnight at the camp or sleeping under the stars.

Either way, the bedouins will prepare and serve you a traditional bedouin meal. You can enjoy the evening around the fire, listening and dancing to bedouin music, or discover bedouin stories. You can also enjoy the most incredible starlight sky!

Day 2 – Climbing in Wadi Rum: Jabal Um ad Dami

After breakfast, the next day we go directly to the beautiful mountain of Jabal Um ad Dami, which is the highest mountain of Jordan with 1 854 meters high. There, you might have the great opportunity to observe the flora and fauna. We often spot gazelles, foxes or rabbits. And of course, your climbing in Wadi Rum will be rewarded by one of the best views of Wadi Rum, of Saudi Arabia and of the Red Sea! Don’t forget your camera.

Secondly, we drive you to one of our Bedouin lunch places in the desert. We prepare traditional Bedouin food for you. You will have around 2 or 3 hours to enjoy the place, have a rest or walk around.

After that, we go back to Rum village where the tour ends at around 3pm.
