Welcome to Our Bedouin Camp, nestled deep in the heart of the Wadi Rum Protected Area. This peaceful desert haven is small, simple, authentic, and comfortable—perfect for those seeking genuine connection with nature and Bedouin life.

A Truly Remote Experience

Located far from the tourist crowds and city noise, Ali Bedouin Camp offers seclusion in a stunning landscape. It’s an ideal base for many of our Wadi Rum hiking tours and multi-day desert adventures. Several landmarks and trails are within short walking distance from the camp.

We keep things clean and functional—but remember, this is the desert. The charm lies in its simplicity, where you can reconnect with the land and experience real Bedouin hospitality.

Camp Facilities

  • 2 desert-style bathrooms with Western toilets and showers

  • Private Bedouin tents for sleeping (2–7 people per tent)

  • A large social tent for dining and relaxing around the fire

  • Outdoor sleeping available—very popular in summer

  • Mattresses and blankets provided (no sheets or towels, bring your own if desired)

Accommodation Capacity

  • 8 private tents

  • Max capacity: 24 guests per night (rarely reached)

  • Typical guest numbers:

    • Busy season: 5–20 guests

    • Quiet season: 1–15 guests

  • Peak seasons: March, April, October, November, Easter, late December (book early!)

Pricing (Per Person, Per Night)

Includes dinner and breakfast:

  • Solo traveler: 50 JD (60 JD if you’re the only guest in the camp)

  • Groups of 2–4: 30 JD per person

  • Groups of 5+: 25 JD per person

Dinner Only Option

  • 15 JD per person

  • Available to tour guests only

  • Coming only for dinner without a tour? Transportation costs may apply

Cancellation Policy

We don’t charge for cancellations. However:

  • If dinner has already been prepared, we kindly ask you to pay for the meal.

  • Please inform us by 12:00 noon on the day of cancellation to avoid unnecessary food prep.
